Max adventure provides tight action double-stick shooter

Some games are much attention because of something new: they ensure the tired genre new twist or a set of completely new type to geek out.  Other games, however, be simply paste the formula traditional, doing a bang job of it.  Max Adventure, a new shooter double-stick belongs to this category.

The story is at the base.  There is an alien invasion and save you to begin helmet worldwide, with a light ray gun and a colander.  You get a quick sense of mechanics has applied the first level, so that you are ready to draw an endless series of colourful life forms come to you at each successive stage of the labyrinth.

Controls are typical.  You get two virtual thumbsticks on both sides with a Minie card in the Middle, showing you by save the children and the output level.   Missions can vary from one level to a level: some require only find children to save them, others will guide you through the middle of foreign attackers and other similar variations on the theme.

There is a good variety of enemy, as well as, for which any amount of strategy (not too well - it is still a shoot-em-up in the heart).  Power-ups you can along the way, but you can just stick to one at a time.  It has a clean upgrade system which allows you to more advanced weapons, equipment and skills.

The biggest problem with double-stick shooters have is their tendency to be repeated after a few levels.  Fortunately, this is not a problem here.  The variety of levels and enemy effectively manage retain a soft (well, fresh this kind anyway get can) from start to finish.

Although there is nothing revolutionary about Max adventure rave, is an exuberant playing with his game and a sufficient challenge.  It is now available for 99-cents.
